Balcony battle by the relatively unknown *MiG-05 needs some exposure. His work appears to have assimilated the tight linework and compositional breadth of folks like Barry Windor-Smith and Frank Frazetta. The results are nothing short of sublime. The shading and details are gorgeous, but what I really like about this piece is how, by framing it so symmetrically, you gave the scene a sense of chaos entering an ordered world. The fact that the crash looks so believable certainly helps with this effect.
